Promoting your site
Imagine what being able to put a small icon on your user's desktop can do to promote your site.
We illustrate at right how a well known shipping company could provide a quick link to package tracking data. Their logo sits on user desktop, among program icons, waiting for user to click on logo.
If and when they do, the package tracking page is launched in a full fledged browser window.

Other ideas for promoting your site are a circular clocks, your logo, or even rounded corner pages. Any image you would formerly render as an icon can now be displayed in html with no borders.
JavaScript is available so mouseover effects, popups, or moving across the page are all possible using the html you already know.
Another example,at left, is the EXE we use to promote our own site. This 62 KB file consists of two html pages and a background graphic. It contains external links, which open in a full browser window. This EXE is available for you to try on your own system.
