Finding out why users uninstall
DAIR Computer Systems has long used surveys to find out why
people are uninstalling our software. Based on feedback,
users recognize that this survey is a legitimate tool to
identify and correct software weaknesses.
The survey is launched just before the application is erased from
disk. Due to timing, the survey may be left behind along with user
data. Consequently, there is a premium on small size.
The survey form shown is powered by our web site. The Reduce program
is a discontinued OEM product, which we are using instead of a current
product. We do this to prevent HtmlApp Studio users running this
small app to confuse our web site as to which deinstall requests
are legitimate or not.
